Electrical energy is generated when they are exposed to light. They offer a promising alternative to conventional and expensive silicon-based solar cells. However, ruthenium and several materials used in these cells are toxic and relatively expensive because they have a low natural abundance. The Faraday charge transfer processes showed that the TiO 2/TMK photoelectrode is not in direct contact with the carbon counter-electrode.ĭye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) are a third-generation photovoltaic cell that converts any visible light into electrical energy.

The DSSC based on TiO 2/TMK photoelectrode exhibited 16 times better stability than pure TiO 2-based photoelectrode. The energy storage function worked well until the third day of analysis.

The combination of the electrolyte and the TMK demonstrated a synergistic effect to improve the electrical properties of the DSSC.

Under a light intensity of 200 W/m 2, it produced an energy conversion yield of 0.086%. The result showed that the presence of 5% of TMK in TiO 2 paste was more favorable to obtain higher energy conversion efficiency. The presence of 5% of TMK in anatase TiO 2 paste decreased the TiO 2 band gap from 3.21 to 3.16 eV. Their stability, reusability, and equivalent circuit were studied. The photovoltaic cells have four main natural components, i.e., a photosensitizer (carotenoid bixin), photoelectrode (TiO 2/kaolinite), electrolyte (glycerine carbonate derivative), and counter-electrode (carbon). However, glare is primarily the result of relative placement of light sources and the objects being viewed.In this research, treated metakaolinite (TMK) was introduced into the TiO 2 photoelectrode to fabricated dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Intense light sources - such as bright incandescent lamps - are likely to produce more direct glare than large fluorescent lamps. Bright lights reflecting off a television or computer screen or even a printed page produces glare. A bright object in front of a dark background usually will cause glare. The excessive brightness from a direct light source that makes it difficult to see what one wishes to see. A light source with a CRI of 80 or higher is considered acceptable for most indoor residential applications. The Color Rendering Index (CRI) is a 1–100 scale that measures a light source's ability to render colors the same way sunlight does. Most objects are not a single color, but a combination of many colors, and certain light sources may change the apparent color of an object. Color rendition is generally considered to be a more important lighting quality than color temperature. Warm light is preferred for living spaces because it is more flattering to skin tones and clothing. Cool light is preferred for visual tasks because it produces higher contrast than warm light. Confusingly, higher Kelvin temperatures (3600–5500 K) are what we consider cool and lower color temperatures (2700–3000 K) are considered warm. Color temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) temperature. By convention, yellow-red colors (like the flames of a fire) are considered warm, and blue-green colors (like light from an overcast sky) are considered cool.
